Bulletproof Careers: Taking Control in an Unpredictable World

  • W1 - To be disclosed to registered guests London (map)

Over the last 50 years, society has undergone dramatic transformation and technological advances are accelerating disruption at lightning speed.  Constant and rapid change has become the norm.  Our career paths have become much less defined and the nature of work has become increasingly unpredictable. Yet, these same forces that are disrupting our careers have given us unprecedented opportunity and freedom. We now have full control of determining the direction of our lives and we alone are responsible for shaping our futures. But, what does this really mean? How do we make the most of these times and achieve the best outcomes?

Whether you are just entering the workforce, on your second or third career or contemplating options, long-term employment in one company (or even one industry) is no longer the norm. The average person will change careers 5-7 times in a lifetime. Managing your working life requires a long-term approach with some experimentation and lots of guidance. This is why we have invited a panel of speakers each of whom have successfully managed transitions across different organisations, industries, and roles to share the insights and advice that their younger selves would have liked to have.
