The future of Voice AI in Media with Mukul Devichand of BBC

By Invitation of the London Business School Tech and Media Club

A conversation on the future of Voice AI in Media with Mukul Devichand of BBC

“The death of the editor” has been long predicted, as technologies such as algorithmic feeds and what’s now being called “conversational AI (Artificial Intelligence)” replace the front page. Mukul Devichand, who is leading BBC efforts to introduce new services such as interactive news for smart assistants and the new BBC assistant (“Beeb”), argues that trusted journalistic values must urgently find a new relationship with the world of AI. Join us to learn more about Mukul and the BBC are redefining media interactions with AI.

Mukul Devichand founded BBC Trending, the BBC’s “global bureau on the internet,” and edited it from the tail end of the Arab Spring through to the rise of the Alt-Right. Now he is the Executive Editor of Voice + AI for the BBC.
