Faculty Insights: Entrepreneurship for Grown-ups (SOLD OUT)

By invitation of the LBS London Alumni Club

It is never too late to trade in corporate life for the rollercoaster of entrepreneurship! In this inspiring session, Rupert Merson, Adjunct Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship, will explore the people who come to entrepreneurship later in their careers, or even after their careers.

It is never too late to trade in corporate life for the rollercoaster of entrepreneurship!

Join LBS alumni and guests at this event with acclaimed professor Rupert Merson to explore how you too can enjoy the thrill of ride. Entrepreneurs are usually young, inexperienced, risk-oriented, not career-focused, difficult to employ…. Right? Of course, sometimes entrepreneurs are all of these things. But sometimes not.

In this session, Rupert Merson explores entrepreneurship for older, successful, business school-educated, opportunity-focused people; people who come to entrepreneurship later in their careers, or even after their careers. He asks and answers: What makes them successful? How do they do it? How can you do it too?
