You are invited to a curated tour through the best of the West End Gallery HOP! Starting with a glass of bubbly in St James, the group will then visit two carefully selected galleries on Old and New Bond Street in Mayfair taking in the Christmas lights along the way, before venturing into Marylebone.
We will stop by the following points of interest:
This London space of a Hong Kong gallery is dedicated to fostering cultural understanding of Chinese contemporary art
Like an iceberg, most of this gallery remains unseen from street level.
Side-by-side amongst the luxury retailers of New Bond Street, this gallery represents outstanding emerging and established artists.
Breaking the gallery mould, this gallery is shaking things up by presenting art, decorative arts and furniture under one roof.
We will finish the tour with a drinks reception at a gallery in Marylebone. Guests can opt to regroup for optional dinner among the many offerings in the area.
About our guide Katrina Man
Katrina Man is an independent curator and art consultant specialised in contemporary art, technology and emerging and under-represented artists. She has been operating in the art world for the past 8 years, planning and delivering art exhibitions and events in gallery, museum, public programme, art consultancy and independent curatorial project contexts. Her core mission is to platform and support emerging artists, especially those that are under-represented in the sector, and to make more art more accessible to a wider audience.
